Resumen
The research objective is to determine if the application of Yupana in students of the Undergraduate Course of Mathematics and Physics at UNHEVAL improves their learning with respect to the multiplication of integers. The sample was made up of 147 students divided into two groups (57 in the experimental group and 90 in the control group). The methodology was explanatory with descriptive analysis and the research design was quasi-experimental. Three tests were applied to both groups (input, process and output test), and a hypothesis test was also performed with a significance level of 5% and a confidence level of 95%. The results showed that between EG and CG, the first group had an average improvement of 2.54 points over the other group. It was concluded that the application of the Yupana allowed the students of the Undergraduate Course of Mathematics and Physics to improve their level of learning of the multiplication of integers.
