Abstract
The objective was to determine the effectiveness of an strategy in lifestyles. A quasi-experimental study was carried out with 29 mothers from the Cayhuayna Alta, Huánuco-Peru family, 2018. A lifestyle scale was used. The test used was Mc Nemar. After the educational strategy, 93.1% had adequate lifestyles. Likewise, 93.1% had adequate eating habits and 75.9% adequate physical activity. In conclusion, the educational strategy had significant effects on the modification of life styles in mothers, particularly in eating habits and physical activity.
